ReplyDeleteFor a country that espouses it to be - the home of the brave, the land of the free - we have become - the home of the cowardly and selfish, the land of sides.
Want to change it - want to live with honor - nobility - and truth - then pretend to be what you want to be. You'll find that over time - it becomes to be.

An individual, a country can only achieve honor, nobility, truth, and most of all freedom when that individual, country, or planet's thoughts, actions, and soul are aligned with that which is honorable, noble, just, and true. And they must be willing to pay the personal price for these idols no matter what it is rather than taking the cheap road of sacrificing the house of honor, nobility, truth, and justice for their own personal gain or comfort.

ReplyDeleteI don't live in a modern house - one with windows all around - made of steel - where my fescue is better than my neighbors and is all artificial. This house is not grand - it doesn't dominant the landscape - and tower into the sky - giving off toxins - and robbing the planet of energy. No, my house has moss growing on the roof - has a few windows here or there - is made of stone and wood from rocks of the earth and trees that gave themselves for my shelter. The land around it is full of life - teeming with animals - and growing in a way that is in harmony with each other. This house has an open door for all to enter - and all to take shelter. It does not discriminate - it does not lie about who it is - and if you take shelter in it - it protects you - willing to give its life for those inside it. My house - it's built on honor - truth - and nobility - and its foundation is one with the planet. I am fortunate to live here - will you all live here too?
Every thing holds its own life dear however the dearest of things holds honor, nobility, and truth far more precious than that of their own life.

Your words are nothing more than that of an idealistic and naive woman that would have everyone be subservient to the power of men and rob people of want they want and the dreams that they are due. All of this: it's about us, it's about the greater good is nothing more than robbing each and everyone of us of our individual grandeur. Do you really want to live in a world where everyone is the same, where individual thought means nothing because it might strike a dischord?
